Job Summary

 We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all financial activities, ensure accurate accounting practices, and provide strategic guidance to support our company’s growth and operational efficiency.

Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas (Remote)

Qualifications

 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required

  • Master’s degree or CPA is a plus

  • Minimum 4 years of financial experience, including at least 1 year in local government or construction experience is required

  • Some accounting experience required (budgeting, payroll, invoicing, financial reporting)

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

  • Experience working with or managing offshore teams is strongly preferred

  • Prior team leadership or team management experience required

  • Solid understanding of financial systems, accounting principles, and public sector compliance

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and a collaborative mindset 

Responsibilities

 
  • Oversee all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting

  • Lead budgeting process ensuring proper allocation aligned with management and project goals

  • Manage and mentor payroll officers and finance staff handling municipal invoicing

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with analysis and insights for senior management

  • Ensure timely, accurate invoicing for city, county, and local government contracts, maintaining compliance

  • Communicate with city contacts to resolve billing issues and ensure customer satisfaction

  • Support sales team with pricing analysis and strategy development for RFPs/RFQs

  • Collaborate with external auditors to maintain compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards

  • Identify and manage financial risks related to projects and operations

Compensation & Benefits

  • $100,000 annual salary

  • Remote position with occasional travel to the Fort Worth office and client sites

Education
